Arjun Kapoor has a piece of serious advice for Bollywood newbie Ananya Panday who recently slammed trolls questioning her USC admission.

Bollywood newbie Ananya Panday who recently made it up to the news after a woman, who claimed to be her classmate, said that she lied about getting selected in a prestigious university at USC, rubbished all such claims on Sunday with a powerful social media post. She shared a number of pictures with her university letters and revealed that she had successfully applied for a major in Communication at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, but postponed her admission twice as she was shooting for her debut film 'Students of the Year 2'.

Setting the record straight, the 20-year-old actor, wrote, "I didn’t want to do this. I didn’t feel like I needed to explain myself to anyone, but the rumors that I faked my admission at USC have been doing the rounds for a while now. They've been getting out of hand, and it’s even more unfair and sad that my family and friends have to go through this."

In the long post, the actress elaborated the whole scenario and further extended a strong message against bullying.  She said, "It's never okay to bully anyone - creating fake conversations, stories and screenshots are very dangerous and can seriously damage people’s lives. So please be loving, positive and kind. ❤"

Ananya's move against bullying and negativity have got strong support from the netizens. Joining the bandwagon was actor Arjun Kapoor, who gave a piece of serious advice to the Bollywood newbie. Commenting on the post, he said that Ananya should not pay heed to what other people say or think, rather only be concern about her friends and family's opinion. 

"Your friends & family know the truth and that’s all that should matter... Haters gonna hate broooo !!! Aage badho life mein..." he wrote in the post.

The whole conversation started when Ananya in a recently said that she chose not to go to college despite being accepted for a journalism program as she wanted to focus on her acting career. Following the same, a woman, who goes by the name of "anieeepeee" on Instagram, who claimed to be her classmate then came forward disputing the actor's statement and said she never applied for any foreign university in the first place. However, the actress' strong move is sure to shut the rumors. 

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ananya is gearing up for the release of her upcoming romantic comedy 'Pati Patni Aur Woh'. The film also starring Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead is a remake of a 1978 film of the same name. The film is all set to release in theatres on December 6, 2019.
