Aditya Seal recently made headlines when in an interview he compared 'Student of The Year 2' to 'Avengers: Endgame' saying that 'section of society' who will watch 'Avengers' and love it, believing that superheros exist, but when the same this is portrayed by Bollywood, they will give them 'flak' for it. However now, the actor retracted his statement saying he was misquoted and that there was never a 'comparison' between the two.
"In Avengers, they take you into a world that doesn't exist, but you believe it because it looks beautiful. Here, nowhere have we said that this is a true story. This a different world and you would want to be part of a school like this because it is fabulous. That the inference that I derived. I don't know why people started comparing Avengers and SOTY2, it's so bizarre. I am having a hearty laugh," he said in a media interaction.
Meanwhile, Twitter has been fuming after the actor's alleged comparison. While one user said that there is a "stark difference" between the two, the other one said, " Avengers still holds relevance as compared to SOTY 2". Read some of the reactions below:
