After Catching Up With Beau Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt Snapped Bonding With Another Superstar In New York

There's still uncertainty over Rishi Kapoor's illness as the veteran actor undergoes medical treatment in New York. However, several celebrities have visited him in the last few days and the pictures from those meetings have been delightful. Rishi Kapoor and close friend Anupam Kher were seen taking a stroll on the busy streets of NYC. Priyanka Chopra and Sonali Bendre Behl, who's also being treated for cancer in USA, were the next set of visitors to the actor. And then finally, son Ranbir's girlfriend Alia Bhatt also landed in the city to be with the family during the tough period. The popular couple was seen crossing the road and a picture of them after shopping had also gone viral. And now the actress has also caught up with Priyanka in the city. Video of the two actresses, dressed to beat the cold, chatting as they come out of their hotel and enter their car, has made its way to social media. Peecee acknowledges the cameras by waving at them. The shutterbugs also recorded them once they returned after their trip.

The duo's stay in USA currently was another reason why they didn't attend the celebrations for 20 years of 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' in Mumbai on Tuesday. Recently, Alia was seen bonding with another actress, Deepika Padukone on the popular chat show 'Koffee with Karan', where they were the first guests.

On the professional front, Alia recently returned from Kargil after shooting for 'Kalank' opposite Varun Dhawan. The film, directed by '2 States' fame Abhishek Varman, is produced by her mentor Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The period drama also stars Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur. The multi-starrer is scheduled to release on 19 April next year. Priyanka, on the other hand, was recently seen shooting for her next film 'The Sky is Pink' in London. The Shonali Bose directorial also features Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim. The film is based on the real-life story of  Aisha Choudhary and her journey of becoming a motivational speaker despite being diagnosed with immune deficiency disorder.
