Vicky Kaushal's 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' has turned out to be a true game-changer for Indian cinema. The action-packed film has been wreaking havoc at the box office and has already blasted past Rs 150 crore. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his enthusiasm by using the war cry "How's the Josh?" during a speech. Now, an ecstatic Vicky has found some new fans, this time 30,000 above ground.
During a flight, the actor was greeted with a special gesture by flight attendants of Jet Airways. Turns out that they baked a cake for the versatile actor. Other than this sweet gesture, they also gave him a handwritten note which read, "How's the josh? Happy Republic Day. Jai Hind. Extremely high sir."
The actor had shared the picture on his Instagram and had thanked the crew for this special gesture. Looks like his fan frenzy and the movie's fan following is increasing day by day. Even recently, Raksha Mantri Nirmala Sitharaman had used the now famous, "How's the josh?" line as she watched Uri with war veterans. As if all this success and fame is not enough, the film has also broken a bunch of box office records.
As the film amassed more than Rs 150 crore, it has now defeated 'Tanu Weds Manu: Returns' to become the highest grossing medium budget Bollywood film of all time. It also marks the first film for Vicky Kaushal that has gone past Rs 150 crore, a feat which even stars haven't achieved yet. At the rate at which it is progressing, the Aditya Dhar directorial has a good chance of making it to the Rs 200 crore club.
