One of the biggest and most highly anticipated trailers came out on November 2, which is that of Shah Rukh Khan's 'Zero'. The date is, of course, perfect for it also marks the birthday of the Bollywood superstar,. The makers of the film also organized a grand event where they unveiled the trailer with much fanfare. Moreover, from the teaser and posters, it is clear that the film promises to be rather quirky, especially S RK's character of Bauua Singh. 

Ever since the posters of the film released a day before, '#Zero' has ruled over social media. As people are busy trying to decode the long trailer and wonder what's in store for the film that is scheduled to hit the box office on December 21, 2018, others could not stop turning the glimpses of the trailer into memes, which have thus flooded Twitter.

Shah Rukh Khan will be seen essaying the role of a vertically challenged person in the film. 'Zero' will mark the reunion of the 'Dilwale' actor with his 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' co-stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. While Katrina Kaif will be seen essaying the role of a troubled actress, Anushka Sharma will be essaying the role of a scientist. 'Zero' also stars Abhay Deol and R Madhavan in pivotal roles. Apart from these, 'Zero' will also feature Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Karisma Kapoor and late actress Sridevi in a special appearance. 

The much-awaited film is slated to hit screens on December 21. Initially, the film was expected to clash with Rohit Shetty's directorial 'Simmba' starring Ranveer Singh and debutante Sara Ali Khan. However, the clash was averted as Shetty and the makers of 'Simmba' decided to defer the release of their film by a week. 'Simmba' is now slated to release on December 28.
