After this Ranveer Singh vs Tiger Shroff Monday motivation face-off, everyone agrees it's going to be a good week

Ranveer Singh's rise to fame can't be underplayed. In just a short span of time, he's emerged as one of the most bankable stars in an industry that's (a) sceptical of outsiders and (b) generally more comfortable in placing its big bets in tried and tested avenues.

There are several reasons for this as Ranveer has numerous qualities that differentiate him from the rest of the Bollywood male-lead line-up. For instance, Ranveer can pull off both hero and villain roles with equal conviction. In fact, in a number of his most famous films, he's played characters that are difficult to categorise. 

Sanjay Leela Bhansali has made particular use of this by casting Ranveer in roles where he's the fulcrum of the entire movie but not as a traditional protagonist. While Ranveer was largely villainous in Ram Leela and Padmaavat, there were times when the audience probably felt themselves rooting for him. Ranveer does divide opinion in that regard, but if there's one thing that everyone can agree upon, based on a picture he's just posted to social media, whether it be villain, hero, comedian, dance extra, spot-boy, sidekick or any other role, we need Ranveer.
