After viral fire stunt, Akshay Kumar teases something even bigger, adds 'Don't tell my wife' postscript

Akshay Kumar is on a roll! After launching his web-series, 'Kesari' actor will now be seen with Rohit Shetty on the TV show 'Khatron Ke Khiladi'

Akshay Kumar, who hosted Season 1, 2 and 4 of reality game show, based on the American series 'Fear Factor', will be back again on Season 9 alongside Rohit Shetty to perform some daredevil stunt for the finale episode.

The 'Kesari' actor took to his Twitter handle to announce the same and also added his touch of humour and asked his fans to not tell his wife. He wrote: "It's a flaming week for #Kesari 🔥
Warming up with #RohitShetty for Khatron Ke Khiladi. Watch this space!!P.S. Don’t tell my Wife 😜"

Akshay Kumar added that last line for his wife because a few days back, Twinkle Khanna was furious seeing Akshay Kumar 'on fire' when he launched his upcoming web show. Twinkle said: "Crap! This is how I find out that you decided to set yourself on fire ! Come home and I am going to kill you-in case you do survive this! #GodHelpMe.” Akshay, too, had a hilarious come back to that. “Now that’s something I’d actually be afraid of.”

According to the reports, Akshay Kumar will perform a stunt that involves a truck and fire. He will also give a pep talk to the contestants — Bharti Singh, Ridhima Pandit, Aly Goni, Shamita Shetty, Aditya Narayan and Punit Pathak.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar is currently busy promoting his film 'Kesari'. The story of Kesari revolves around the 21 Sikhs who fought till their last breath for their motherland against 10,000 Afghan invaders. This battle is widely known in our history and is known as the Battle of Saragarhi which was fought between Sikh soldiers of the British Indian Army and Pashtun Orakzai tribesmen on September 12, 1897.

Akshay will be essaying the role of Havildar Ishar Singh who takes part in the Battle of Saragarhi. The much-anticipated film all set to release on March 21, 2019. 

Akshay will also be collaborating with Rohit Shetty in his next cop film titled as 'Sooryavanshi'. The film will release on Eid 2020.
