Ahead of trailer launch, CBFC raises objections on certain scenes in 'Thackeray'. The drama film is based on the life of Bal Thackeray, the founder of Shiv Sena.

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has raised objections to the upcoming Bollywood biopic 'Thackeray'.The drama film is based on the life of Bal Thackeray, the founder of Shiv Sena.

According to the makers of the movie, CBFC has raised objections on four dialogues and two scenes and have asked them to make necessary changes. The makers of the film also stated that they are trying to solve the issue with CBFC, according to the law and are hopeful that it will soon be sorted out.

"Yes, they have raised objections on some dialogues and scenes, four dialogues and two scenes to be precise. We are legally dealing the matter with CBFC and we hope the matter will be sorted out soon," said Shiv Sena Parliamentarian and producer of the film Sanjay Raut.

Starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the strong leader, the film's teaser has already created quite a stir when it dropped months ago. Now, the trailer of the film is all set to come out soon and on this occasion, the makers have unveiled a special video. 

In the promo, Sanjay Dutt, one of the biggest Bollywood actors can be seen talking about late Shiv Sena party leader. He talked about the one thing he learnt from him as he said, "I just learnt one thing is that, love your country. And be tough enough and honest enough to speak the truth. And that's what he did, all his life." The video then cuts to real life videos of the iconic leader as he is giving one of his memorable speeches with his powerful voice echoing in the background.

'Thackeray' is slated to release on January 23, 2019, which is also the birth anniversary of the late Shiv Sena founder. The biographical drama is helmed by Abhijit Panse.
