Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani turns 10; a few best scenes from the film

Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani first released on November 6, 2009, and instantly became a hit among teen audiences. The film is still dear to many people who enjoyed it upon its release and is considered to be one of Ranbir Kapoor's best films of all times by his fans. The film starred Ranbir and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles and was directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. It has now been ten years since the film's original release, so here are a few of the best scenes from the movie that are still remembered by fans to this day.

When Jenny's lover Rahul goes missing, she comes to Prem to ask for help. Prem then decides to hide Jenny in his own house. He brings her to his house and asks his mother to help hide her from his father. The following scenes then depict the hilarious ways by which Prem and his mother try and hide Jenny from his father. Jenny comical stay in Prem's house eventually comes to an end but while it lasts it is one of the funniest scenes in the film. 

When Jenny gets kidnapped and Prem goes to rescue her

A day before Jenny and Rahul are about to get married, Jenny gets kidnapped by a gangster called Sajid Don. Prem and his friends then go to Sajid Don's base to rescue Jenny. They exchange Jenny for two suitcases full of fake money. Initially, Sajid Don's followers do not realize that the notes are fake, but when they tell him that the notes only have a number written on them, the don realises that he is being conned and commands his men to capture Prem, Jenny and their friends. This leads to a hilarious fight scene full of slapstick action-comedy. Eventually, Prem's father also joins the fight and Sajid Don is defeated and arrested by the police.

Prem's various attempts to impress Jenny

Many of the scenes at the beginning of the film are dedicated to showing the various ways by which Prem tries to impress Jenny. All of Prem's antics either hilariously backfire or are completely ineffective as Jenny is oblivious to the fact that Prem likes her. One of the best and funniest instance of Prem trying to impress Jenny is when he eats non-veg food for the first time. Prem's friends convince him that since Jenny is a catholic she is also a non-vegetarian. So, to impress her Prem finally eats meat for the first time. However, this plan amusingly backfires as it turns out that Jenny is a vegetarian despite being a catholic.
