Ajay Devgn's much-anticipated film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is one of most talked about features of the year. While the trailer just released today, it is already being compared with South Indian actor Prabhas' Baahubali franchise. When quizzed about the same during the trailer launch today, he said,'Our film is different with a unique story. Great movies are coming out nowadays and we are also trying our best to work excellently.''. Ever since the film has been announced, the makers to create curiosity amongst social media users and viewers dropped a new character poster every day.

Trailer Review: 

The makers finally unveiled the trailer and while netizens have mixed reactions after watching it, critics believe that while all the performances of the actors are amazing, it has sadly been overpowered with bad VFX, and mundane action sequences, thus making the whole essence of a historical period drama fade into oblivion. According to reports, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is based on the life of great Maratha warrior Subedar Tanaji Malusare, who fought alongside Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film is produced by Ajay Devgn, and Kajol will be seen portraying the role of Tanaji’s wife. Fans have shared their excitement to watch Ajay and Kajol in a completely new avatar on screen. The movie will hit the theatres on January 10, 2020.

Ajay Devgn will soon be seen in his first-ever multi-lingual film. The film Maidaan will reportedly release in Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages. According to a report by a leading daily, the director of the film, Amit Sharma, wishes to familiarise the audience with the legendary coach who had heralded the golden years of Indian football.
