Akshay Kumar becomes the only Indian to secure a position in Fobes' World's Highest-Paid Celebrities 2019 list.

With back to back hit ventures, Bollywood's 'Khiladi' Akshay Kumar has proved himself to be one of the most bankable stars in the industry. The actor who recently appeared in patriotic drama 'Kesari' has attained yet another remarkable feat. He has secured a position in Forbes' World's Highest-Paid Celebrities 2019 list. As per the reports that surfaced recently, Akshay secured the 33rd position in the list of 100 global celebrities. In fact, he is the only Indian who has made it up to the list this year.

Standing tall at 65 million USD, Akshay has managed to beat some really big names. The 51-year-old actor has left behind several global stars including Rihanna, Kevin Hart, Jackie Chan, Bradley Cooper, Scarlett Johansson, Eminem, Ariana Grande, The Chainsmokers, Chris Evans, Paul Rudd, Lady Gaga, among others. Interestingly, he was beaten by Iron Man Robert Downey Jr by just 1 million USD as the 'Avengers: Endgame' actor earned 66 million USD.

Taylor Swist has topped the list of the World’s Highest-PaidEntertainers this year with whopping 185 million USD. The 'You Need To Calm Down' singer is followed by Kylie Jenner, Kanye West, Lionel Messi,  Ed Sheeran, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Neymar, among others. The two young divas- Taylor and Kylie have set a record securing the top positions in the list.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay Kumar is currently busy shooting for his upcoming cop drama 'Sooryavanshi'. The film directed by Rohit Shetty also stars Katrina Kaif in the lead. It is all set to hit the theaters on March 27, 2020. He also has a number of films in his kitty including 'Mission Mangal', 'Housefull 4', 'Good News' and 'Laxmi Bomb'.
