As per reports, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar will be taking a break from the hectic schedule of Rohit Shetty's 'Sooryavanshi' in Hyderabad. Kumar will now be shooting for another song in the fourth Housefull film. The 'Kesari' actor will be shooting for the song on June 28 and 29 with co-stars Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh, Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, and Kriti Kharbanda. Just a while back, the team had reunited for a song that featured Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a special appearance.

"Sooryavanshi" is the fourth film of Rohit's cop drama universe in which Akshay is essaying the role of Veer Suryavanshi, a character that was introduced as an anti-terrorist squad officer in the Ranveer Singh-starrer 2018 film "Simmba".

The film was first slated to release on Eid 2020, but after Salman Khan made an announcement saying that his next film, "Inshallah" will release on the same date, thus clashing at the box office, Rohit Shetty changed the release date of 'Sooryavanshi'.

Appreciating the favour, Salman Khan took to his Twitter handle and shared a picture with Rohit Shetty, captioning it as: "I always thought of him as my younger brother and today he proves it... #RohitShetty Sooryavanshi releasing on 27th March, 2020." [sic]

However, this act did not go down well with many netizens who were left disappointed with Shetty changing the release date. Many also said that they will boycott the film.
