'Mission Mangal' to release this Independence Day

'Mission Mangal' helmed by Jagan Shakti is all set to hit the theaters on this Independence Day, August 15. For the unaware, the film is based on the real-life story of the Indian Space Research Organisation's Mars Orbiter Mission which is India's first successful interplanetary mission.

It features Akshay as an ISRO scientist who is working on the project with Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen, Sharman Joshi, and others. The trailer of the film was widely appreciated by the audience. The trailer looks like an absolute package with its zeal of patriotism, nail-biting excitement, and an adequate amount of humor. With the Mars mission, the film showcases how the characters in the film, who handle responsibilities in the space station as well at home and in their personal lives, set out on a journey from being ordinary to extraordinary.
