Akshay Kumar Wishes Daughter Nitara In This Heartfelt Post

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar wished his daughter Nitara with a heartwarming social media post as she turned 6-years-old on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. The actor who prefers keeping his children away from the limelight, posted a picture with his daughter on Instagram to mark her birthday. The much-in-love father posted a picture of himself and his daughter in a pool having a gala time. The 'PadMan' star who is not willing to let his 'baby girl' grow up, said that he wants her to remain the same, stating that he is not ready to see her swim without him.  

The actor captioned the picture saying, "My Baby Girl, you have given me Love I didn’t know existed ❤ Please don’t grow up just yet, I’m not ready for you to swim without Me. Happy 6th Birthday Princess 👸🏻"

Akshay Kumar tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Twinkle Khanna, the daughter of actors Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia, on January 17, 2001. The couple welcomed their first child, son Aarav, 15 years ago following which Twinkle gave birth to their second child, daughter Nitara, on 25 September 2012. The happy family is often seen enjoying quality time together. However, Aarav recently moved to London to pursue higher education.

Akshay Kumar was last seen in 'Gold', a historical sports-drama film based on the national hockey team's first Gold win at the 1948 Summer Olympics. The film was directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment. The film featured Akshay Kumar, Mouni Roy, Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Kumar Singh, Amit Sadh, and Sunny Kaushal in the pivotal roles. 

The 'Rustom' star has a number of films in his kitty at the moment. He will be next featured in S. Shankar's sci-fi flick '2.0' which also stars Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson in the lead. The film is scheduled to release on November 29, 2018. Akshay will also be seen in 'Kesari', 'Housefull 4', and 'Good News' which are scheduled to release in 2019.
