Akshay Kumar's birthday wish for daughter Nitara is all hearts

Akshay Kumar took to social media and penned a heartwarming birthday post for his daughter Nitara as she turned a year older on Wednesday, September 25.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who has emerged as one of the most bankable actors in the industry, is also a doting father to his children- Aarav and Nitara. The actor, who is married to actor-turned-author Twinkle Khanna, often shares pictures with his family on social media. 

Now, as Nitara turned 7 years old on Wednesday, September 25, Akshay Kumar shared an adorable post on social media, marking his daughter's special day. He shared a picture of himself and Nitara on social media where the super-fit father can be seen carrying the little one in his arms as he climbs a tree-house. Showering love on Nitara, Akshay Kumar captioned the post saying, "She's happiest when she's in daddy’s arms and so is daddy, evidently 😁 Wishing you all the happiness in the world always❤️ Happy birthday darling, Nitara 😘😘🤗"

What's next for Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar, who is basking in the success of his last outing 'Mission Mangal', has a number of films in the pipeline for release. He will also be starring in the upcoming venture, 'Good News', 'Laxmmi Bomb' and Rohit Shetty's 'Sooryavanshi'. Moreover, on the occasion of his birthday, on September 9, Akshay Kumar has confirmed that he will be donning the warrior hat for his next historical drama titled 'Prithviraj'. The historical drama reportedly chronicles the First Battle Of Tarain led by emperor Prithiviraj Chauhan, who is considered one of the bravest rulers of the Chahamana dynasty.

Housefull 4

Akshay Kumar will also be starring in upcoming comedy-drama 'Housefull 4', first looks of which he unveiled earlier in the day. The plot of 'Housefull 4' circles around the theme of reincarnation. The movie is set in two time periods- the 15th century and the other, 21st century.

'Housefull 4' has been making it up to the news ever since it was announced. The multi-starrer venture features Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Kharbanda, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Chunky Panday, Johnny Lever, and Boman Irani, among others. 'Housefull 4', which is the fourth installment of the franchise, has been shot extensively in London, Rajasthan, and Mumbai; and reportedly follows a non-linear narrative.

'Housefull 4' got into a controversy after former actress Tanushree Dutta accused veteran actor Nana Patekar, who was then a part of the film, of misconduct and initiated the 'MeToo' movement in Bollywood. Later filmmaker Sajid Khan was also accused of sexual harassment, following which he quit the project. Patekar was replaced by 'Baahubali' fame Rana Daggubati whereas 'Housefull 3' director Farhad Samji took over the reins of 'Housefull 4.'
