Akshay Kumar-Kareena Kapoor has been among the most prolific B-Town pairs, having worked together in as many as seven films, apart from more than three where the latter has made a special appearance. The duo is now set to work togeher in ‘Good News’ and apart from praise for each other, the actors say that nothing has changed for them over the years, including their 'fun banter.'

Akshay-Kareena completed the shooting of the movie recently and in a recent interview with a daily, the duo opened up on their thoughts for each other. The actress called her co-star ‘one of the most dedicated and disciplined stars’. The ‘Heroine’ star said they hadn’t worked together for the ‘longest time’ but ‘Good News’ is an ‘exciting’ project as it had the ‘right humour and emotions’ for people of all age groups. 

So, how has the experience of shooting 'Good News'? Kareena replied that working with ‘Khiladi Kumar’ is ‘always fun’ and added that the best part about him is his focus on his work as he doesn’t waste time between shoots, leaving her with enough time to spend time with her son Taimur. 

The actress also lauded Akshay’s growth as an actor, calling it ‘fantastic’ and ‘higher than anybody else’ in recent years, because of his style of working. She also said he’s ‘hardly changed as a person’ and always is ‘extremely loving and well-mannered.’ 

Akshay, too, had some amazing words to say about his co-star. He said he had done numerous films with not just Kareena, but also her sister Karisma Kapoor, and it is always a ‘lovely’ experience. The ‘Gold’ star added that 'Good News' was their first full-fledged movie after her marriage and he too felt that ‘nothing has changed.’ Akshay shared that over the years, their equation has been the same and they have been extremely 'fond of each other.'

Revealing their ‘fun banter’, Akshay said that the sister-duo keep teasing him about the amount of money he earns. However, he too, jokes with them about the two having a flat in every building in Bandra.
