Alia Bhatt is not just an actor par excellence who goes an extra mile to give it her best on-screen but could have just proven to be the world’s best girlfriend. Chef Harsh Dixit took to social media to share pictures of an ecstatic Alia Bhatt trying her hand at baking. And the pictures have left everyone wondering if the cake was for none other than her rumoured beau Ranbir Kapoor who coincidentally (or not) ushered in his 36th birthday around the same time.

Ranbir Kapoor surely had one memorable birthday and it is not only because of spending it with his dear ones but also because the actor had a surprise gift delivered to him all the way from Barcelona. The actor is known to be a die-hard football fan and on the occasion of his birthday, Ranbir received a Barcelona Football Club jersey signed by none other than Lionel Messi.

On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are all set to share screen space in ‘Brahmastra’. The Ayan Mukerji directorial has created an immense anticipation among the audience not only due to reports of a rumoured relationship between Alia and Ranbir but also because of its interesting concept. While talking to PTI, Alia Bhatt said that the fantasy trilogy will take cinema to a different level. The actress said, "We are very excited for the film. It is a step ahead. This will take cinema to another level. I am excited for next year.” ‘Brahmastra’ also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Akkineni Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. Roy who made her debut with Akshay Kumar starrer 'Gold' will be seen as an antagonist in the film which involves some high-octane action sequences featuring Ranbir Kapoor. ‘Brahmastra’ is slated to release on August 15, 2019.
