Alia Bhatt finally breaks her silence on pictures where she’s looking ‘upset’ in the company of boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor

Rumours of a trouble in paradise for Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor started surfacing after a picture from the sets of ‘Brahmastra’ went viral last month. Alia has now finally broken her silence on the pictures at an event in Mumbai on Thursday.

Ranbir Kapooor and Alia Bhatt delivered the biggest hits of their career this year, ‘Sanju’ and ‘Raazi’ respectively and their professional collaboration on ‘Brahmastra’ and their coming together personally naturally grabbed headlines.

However, rumours of a trouble in paradise started surfacing after a picture from the sets of ‘Brahmastra’ went viral last month. In the on-set snaps, we see Ranbir engrossed on his mobile phone, while Alia is seen as upset. We also had seen a distance between the couple in their pictures with the other members of the cast and crew. 

Alia has now finally broken her silence on the pictures and referred to her ‘resting face’ contributing to the controversy. 

“That’s my face. When I rest, my face becomes that way, that’s my resting face. I wasn’t upset at all. I’m very happy. I’m a very happy person. People call me a ‘nani’ because of the resting face and I always look frowning,” Alia exclaimed when asked about the pictures at an event in Mumbai on Thursday.

Hearing it from the horse’s mouth will surely calm down the fans of the couple who might have got worried after looking at the pictures and can be assured that they are going strong as a rock.

Ranbir and Alia had made it official by posing together at Sonam K Ahuja-Anand Ahuja wedding earlier this year. The former had later confirmed in his interviews that they were indeed dating.
