The director-producer on Thursday, January 10, shared a still from his youngest daughter Alia Bhatt's upcoming film 'Gully Boy'. The still is from the trailer that released recently where Alia can be seen delivering dialogues with full attitude. She can be heard saying, "Mere boyfriend se gulu gulu karegi toh dhoptungi na usko"

Mahesh Bhatt shared the picture on his Twitter handle and captioned it, "Alia is a GUNDI"

Directed by Zoya Akhtar, 'Gully Boy' tells the story of an aspiring rapper who reaches the height of success crossing several hurdles. It stars Ranveer Singh and Alia in the lead and is all set to hit the big screens on February 14, 2019. The trailer of the film released a couple of days back and both Ranveer and Alia are praised widely for their performance in the film. The film has been selected for an international film festival, which already speaks volumes about what to expect. It will be co-produced by Zoya Akhtar's Tiger Baby and Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment productions.

Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt had also shared the trailer on Twitter and reviewing the same, he wrote, "The strong survive! A journey into the hearts of the ‘poor rich’ kids of a changing shifting India."

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt is paring up with father Mahesh Bhatt for the first time for the upcoming venture 'Sadak 2'. This will be the first time Mahesh Bhatt will be directing his daughter Alia, and the actress previously revealed that she considers it as the 'greatest present she could ask and dream for'. The film also stars Pooja Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt. 

Alia is currently also working on Ayan Mukerji 's 'Brahmastra ' which also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan. The film is all set to hit the theatres around Christmas 2019.
