The biopic of 'PM Narendra Modi' has been in controversy for a while now and seems like the situation is not going to change anytime soon. While The Supreme Court has passed an order for a stay on the film, the trailer of the same has now gone missing from the video streaming platform, YouTube. And not just YouTube, but it has been removed from different media platforms or that's what it looks like. Even when one types the name of the entire film, the trailer fails to appear. Also after writing, 'PM Modi biopic' trailer in the search bar, it shows that the video is unavailable.
The trailer of the much controversial film was unveiled on March 21, 2019 where Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi could be seen trying to model Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As him, he can be seen shouting, 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai ', and the one dialogue that stood out was "Chetavni deta hoon main Pakistan ko. Agar dobara hum par haath uthaya, toh haath kaat doonga."
The biopic is said to follow the journey of PM Modi from his humble beginnings to his years as Chief Minister onto his landmark win at the 2014 election and finally being nominated as the Prime Minister of India. The film will be directed by Omung Kumar, who has previously helmed some critically acclaimed biopic films including 'Mary Kom' and 'Sarbjit'. It is going to be produced by Suresh Oberoi and Sandip SSingh under the banner of Legend Global Studio. Reportedly, the film was shot across Gujarat, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, among other locations in the country, over a period of a few months.
