One of the most celebrated and respected businessmen of all times, Rajan Nanda passed away on Monday, August 6. He was also the Managing Director of Escorts Limited, and the father-in-law of one of the most celebrated Bollywood actor' daughter, Shweta Bachchan Nanda. Due to his sad demise, the entire business family and the B-town world was completely shocked and taken aback by the news. He was declared brain dead at a hospital in Gurgaon, in the wee hours of Monday, August 6. As the news, broke out many mourned him and paid their respects. The first one to bid him goodbye was Ridhima Kapoor Sahni, who is also Nikhil Nanda's cousin. Taking to Instagram, she said "You were are & will always remain a legend! Thank you for all the love always - will miss you so much uncle - until we meet again RIP uncle, Rajan"

There were various B-town celebrities who took to various social media platforms to pay their respects to the businessman. Recently, one of the most celebrated actors Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter to pay his condolences to him and his family. Here is his tweet! 

Late Rajan Nanda was the Managing Director of Escorts Limited and is survived by his wife Ritu Nanda and their children Nikhil and Natasha Nanda. Nikhil is the co-owner of Escorts Limited and the husband of Bollywood actor' daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda's husband. Escorts Limited is one of the oldest and respected companies of all times. The company is an Indian Engineering company that specializes in handling machinery equipment.
