Amitabh Bachchan's daughter Shweta Bachchan, is one member of the Bachchan family who stayed away from the limelight for the longest time. Breaking the norm, she recently made her acting debut with an ad film for a popular jewellery brand. However, the ad landed up in a controversy after the All India Bank Officers’ Confederation lodged a complaint about showing banks in India in a bad light.
Now, Shweta Bachchan has launched her own label along with Monisha Jaising. Her daughter Navya Naveli Nanda even turned model for the label. Amitabh Bachchan had been sharing his granddaughter's pictures from the shoot and even expressed his pride in her and his daughter. Now, the '102 Not Out' actor has penned a poem for Shweta Bachchan and Navya Nanda. He takes pride in the success of his girls and compares them to pearls and asks to keep them safe.
Monisha and Shweta's label MxS is all set to launch on September 1 and focuses on fashion for women of all sizes. Amitabh Bachchan had recently shared a picture in which he was seen wearing a hoodie which read 'Girl Power' gifted by his daughter.
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan is going to be back on screen with the 10th season of popular television game show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati'. The show will premiere on September 3. The 75-year-old actor is also shooting for two films simultaneously. He is shooting for Ayan Mukherjee's 'Brahmastra' and Sujoy Ghosh's 'Badla'. Both the films are set to release in 2019.
