Amitabh Bachchan To Star In 'Sairat' Director Nagraj Manjule's Hindi Directorial Debut 'Jhund'

 Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan who has his kitty filled has added one more film to it. He will be seen in ‘Sairat’ director Nagraj Manjule’s debut Bollywood directorial. Senior Bachchan will begin shooting for the film titled as ‘Jhund’ in November on a non-stop schedule in Nagpur.

 Currently, the veteran actor is currently shooting for the popular television game show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, on which he is the host. Post the KBC season finale and after the release of the much anticipated ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’, the actor will begin shooting for ‘Jhund’.

A few days back, Mr Bachchan's look as Khudhabaksh from Thugs of Hindostan was revealed. This is the first time that Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan are sharing screen space. With the first look and the amazing pairing, fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the film. Apart from this, the ‘102 Not Out’ actor is also busy shooting for Ayan Mukherjee’s ‘Brahmastra’ alongside Alia Bhatt, Nagarjuna, Ranbir Kapoor and Mouni Roy. He is also filming for Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘Badla’ alongside Taapsee Pannu.

While his role in Jhund has been kept tightly under wraps, it is speculated that Mr Bachchan plays a professor who channelises the street kids to build a soccer team. The film is reportedly based on the life of Vijay Barse, the founder of slum soccer.

Reportedly, the shoot is a total of 70 to 80 days, out of which the ‘Zanjeer’ actor will be shooting for 45 days straight in Nagpur. The film is based in Nagpur and apart from Amitabh Bachchan, every other actor is a fresh face. The street kids will be rehearsing with Amitabh Bachchan before the filming begins.
