Sonali Bendre, who is currently undergoing treatment for cancer in New York, has won hearts with her display of courage and strength. The 'Hum Saath - Saath Hain' actress who is going through a tough phase in her life is taking each day at a time and proving to be an example of patience and courage.
Ever since Sonali broke the news of her battle with cancer, her fans have been worried and are praying for actress' speedy recovery. Her husband Goldie Behl and son Ranveer are the actress' pillars of strength. Sonali's close friends Sussanne Khan and Dia Mirza are also in constant touch with the ailing actress.
Sonali in an earlier Instagram post shared a picture of her friends and captioned the picture as, "it before and I’ll say it again... "I have the best friends in the world!" Sonali has shown immense strength and grit while fighting cancer. Before using a wig, Sonali took to Instagram to share a picture of her holding a book with her head shaved. Sonali has lost hair due to chemotherapy and as soon as this photo was posted, the comments section was flooded with her well-wishers praying for the speedy recovery of the ailing star.
One of the comment's read, "Happy to see you, bold lady having a lot of strength, willpower and dare to tell the rest of the world." Another comment read, "Get well soon," while another said, "So beautiful... Wearing that strong smile is making you stronger every day... Wish you all the luck ma'am."
Sonali captioned her picture as, "Today is #ReadABookDay and what better way to celebrate it than by announcing the next book for #SBC! This one is a historical fiction set in Russia called "A Gentleman In Moscow" by @amortowles. The premise sounds pretty interesting, and I can't wait to start reading it! #SonalisBookClub".

The 43-year-old actress had started a digital book club named Sonali's Book Club in 2017. The actress debuted as an author in 2015 with a book titled 'The Modern Gurukul: My Experiments With Parenting'. Sonali has previously also organised online interactive sessions with renowned authors like Ravi Subramanium, Anand Neelakantan, Amish Tripathi, Preeti Shenoy and Rashmi Bansal as a part of her book club activities.
