Ananya Pandey reveals she won't be casting her vote in Lok Sabha Election 2019. Here's why

Bollywood newbie Ananya Pandey who is all set to make her debut in the industry with Karan Johar's upcoming venture 'Students of the Year 2' recently urged people to come out and vote.

Bollywood newbie Ananya Pandey who is all set to make her debut in the industry with Karan Johar's upcoming venture 'Students of the Year 2' recently urged people to come out and vote. The actress extended a message for her followers in her Instagram story. In the post, she revealed that although she was super excited to vote and execute her duties as a responsible citizen, she won't be able to do cast her vote because of some issues in her voter id. 

However, highlighting the importance of election in structuring the nation, she encouraged her fellow citizens to go out and vote. 

As India enters its Phase 4 of Lok Sabha General Elections on April 29, several other celebrities including actress Juhi Chawla, Karan Johar, and Shah Rukh Khan among others have spread the message for 'Vote Kar India' urging the citizens to cast their votes.

Date for Scrutiny of nominations: April 2

Last date of polling: April 29

Date of counting: May 23

This phase will see 957 candidates contesting for 72 seats in 9 states going to polls:

Bihar - 5

Jammu and Kashmir - 1

Jharkhand  - 3

Madhya Pradesh  - 6

Maharashtra  - 17

Orissa - 6

Rajasthan - 13

Uttar Pradesh - 13

West Bengal - 8

Some of the big candidates contesting elections tomorrow are: Union Minister Giriraj Singh, former JNU student leader Kanhaiya Kumar, former union minister Milind Murli Deora, parliamentarian Dimple Yadav (wife of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav), three-time parliamentarian Ram Chandra Paswan, Rashtriya Lok Samta Party (RLSP) chief and former Union Minister Upendra Kushwaha, former parliamentarian Priya Dutt, NCP chief Sharad Pawar's grandnephew Parth Pawar, senior Congress leader Salman Khurshid, Moon Moon Sen from TMC and Union Minister Babul Supriyo.
