As 2018 is all set to conclude in a couple of days, Bollywood actress penned a heartfelt note reminiscing her journey through the year.

As 2018 is all set to conclude in a couple of days, Bollywood actress penned a heartfelt note reminiscing her journey through the year. The actress opened up about how challenging yet beautiful her year was and also hinted at what really kept her going. Alia, who was recently in Hyderabad owing to the shooting of her upcoming film 'Kalank' finally wrapped up the shooting for the same on Day 70, on Friday, December 26.

To mark the occasion, the actress took to Instagram and shared her thoughts about the passing year. In her Instagram story, she wrote, "And with that, I have wrapped a year too.. This past year has been the most challenging phase in my life. It was all work work work. At one point I thought I wouldn't be able to do it anymore. But my love (love for the movies) kept me going and I cherish every moment of it. I've learnt soo much . and now I can't believe it holiday time . That said . It's just the beginning gearing up for 2019."

Clarifying her rumoured relationship with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia, in her post, shared that it is the love of her movies that kept her going. 

'Kalank' is the fourth film where Varun and Alia will be sharing screen space together. The film also stars Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Kunal Khemu, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles. The period drama will be set in the 1940s will be directed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox Star Studios. It is all set to hit the theatres on April 19, 2019. 

Besides, 'Kalank' the actress has a couple of more films pipelined for release in the coming year including 'Gully Boy,' opposite Ranveer Singh, and 'Brahmastra' opposite rumoured boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. She also shared the names of the movies in her Instagram story announcing their release in the coming year.
