‘AndhaDhun’ had released in China on April 3 and since then, is being loved by the audiences, earning over 1 million USD every day. After an impressive extended opening weekend where it earned close to Rs 100 crore (13.72 million USD or Rs 95.38 crore) the thriller kept the momentum going with 1.46 and 1.39 million USD respectively on Monday and Tuesday. The movie even beat DC’s ‘Shazam!’ by earning over Rs 100 crore (16.66 million USD or 115.22 crore).

In weekend 2, the movie witnessed a growth again with collections of 2.03 million USD and 4.39 million USD on Friday and Saturday respectively, taking the tally over Rs 150 (26.20 million USD or 181.27 crore).

'AndhaDhun' will definitely earn over Rs 200 crore and if the footfalls continue, might even go over Rs 300 crore. It even beat SS Rajamouli's 'Baahubali: The Conclusion', which had shattered records in India, as it had not even touched Rs 100 crore in China.

Aamir Khan enjoys a stupendous fan following and his movies like ‘Dangal’ and ‘Secret Superstar’ had earned over Rs 1000 and Rs 500 crore respectively, though 'Thugs of Hindostan' had flopped. Other Indian movies to do well in the country are ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Hindi Medium’ which also earned Rs 200 crore.
