Indian cinema, particular;y Bollywood has in the 80s and 90s, witnessed several movies based on 'double roles'. Whether it be identical twins  by Salman Khan in 'Judwaa' who were separated at birth but continue to feel the same things and have good or bad, love or hurt and also react in a similar manner, or identical twins from 'Seeta Aur Geeta, played by Hema Malini, who are separated at birth and evolve into different personalities, or identical non-twins, one of who is a lovable loser and the other is a New Zealand-based supercar driving, Greek God dance machine played by the handsome hunk of Bollywood Hrithik Roshan in 'Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai', we had various combinations of 'double role' in Bollywood. And then there are the likes of 'Dasavathaaram' where Kamal Haasan plays ten roles, and 'What's Your Rashee?', where Priyanka Chopra plays 12 roles.

One of the actors who emerged successful in the era of films made around the concept of 'double role' is the 'Jhakaas' actor Anil Kapoor. The 'Mr India' actor stands undefeated with his rugged looks, the charm he exuberates on screen and his time-proof looks that make him unique in the film industry. However, the actor seems to have been defeated on the 'unique' factor (only with respect to looks) by his nephew actor Arjun Kapoor taking the stage. The actor has proved it in his films 'Two States' and 'Ishaqzaade'  among others that he too has that same rugged look and appeal as his uncle, and also if their latest social media antics are to be believed — the same ridiculous sense of humour.

Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in 'Mubarakan'

In the film 'Mubarakan', it looks like Arjun Kapoor is bringing back all that his uncle was known for. He's playing a double role (his second, equaling Anil Kapoor's tally, as far as we know), as twin brothers Karan and Charan (rhyming names -check). Furthermore, Anil Kapoor is in it too. Talk about an overload!

Here's the trailer for 'Mubarakan', which also stars Illeana D'Cruz and Athiya Shetty and is slated to release on July 28.
