Anniversary Special: Guess who did Aishwarya Rai Bachchan follow on her Instagram profile?

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who made her Instagram debut May 11, 2018, just a day before her 17th Cannes appearance didn't follow anyone until today (April 20, 2019). Almost after a year, Aishwarya is now following only one person on her Instagram profile and that is none other than her own husband - Abhishek Bachchan.

Their fan club called 'Bewitching Bachchans' tweeted: "OMG she followed him ON THEIR ANNIVERSARY!!!!"

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya are currently in Maldives with their daughter Aaradhya celebrating their 12th anniversary. Since the time they have landed in Maldives, Abhishek has been giving his fans a sneek-peak of the exotic vacation with his family.

The trio is staying at the same island where Malaika and Arjun recently spent their summer holiday — Niyama Island.

Abhishek in one of the interviews had shared on how he proposed to her. He said: "I was filming in New York for a movie and I used to stand on the balcony of my hotel room and wish that, one day, you know, wouldn’t it be nice if I was together with her, married. So I took her to the very same balcony, and I asked her to marry me."

Abhishek also said: "In some ways we feel like a newly married old couple. It feels like we have spent our entire lives together but it’s still a thrill to wake up in the morning and see her lying next to me. And then it’s like, get up and get the coffee, woman!"
