Veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher has established himself as one of the most versatile actors over the last 35 years. From comedy dramas to films with a serious social message, Kher has contributed to several genres of Indian cinema. Recently, the actor took to Twitter and shared a throwback picture with actor Aamir Khan from the time they were shooting for the much-celebrated venture 'Dil'. 

The actor also penned a heartfelt note along with the picture reminiscing the time when they were shooting for the film. In the post, he talked about how both he and Aamir were very young then and had not had started taking themselves seriously. Referring to the picture where the 'Dangal' actor can be seen looking at Kher interestingly, he asked fans, "What do think dear @aamir_khan is thinking here?"

Directed by Indra Kumar the 1990 romantic drama 'Dil' starred Anupam Kher as Hazari Prasad, who was a father to Aamir Khan's character Raja.  The film also featured Madhuri Dixit and Saeed Jaffrey in the lead. 

Meanwhile, Anupam Kher recently announced the release of his autobiography titled 'Lessons life taught me, unknowingly' and unveiled the cover of the same. The excerpt of the book read: "A fascinating life story peppered with incredible life lessons that are bound to resonate with every aspiring artiste and, most of all, the common man.

On the work front, recently he starred in Ashok Nanda's crime thriller 'One Day,' alongside stars Esha Gupta, Kumud Mishra, Zarina Wahab, Zakir Hussain, Rajesh Sharma, and Murli Sharma.
