Anupam Kher Spends Time With Sonali Bendre In New York

Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre is undergoing treatment for cancer in New York where Anupam Kher is shooting for his new television series 'New Amsterdam'. Reportedly, Anupam Kher tries to talk to Sonali Bendre, meet her and create a positive environment around her. The actors have featured in several films including 'Humara Dil Aapke Paas Hai' and 'Keemat' to name a few. 

According to reports, the veteran actor said that he spoke to Sonali two days ago and that she was undergoing treatment. Reportedly, Kher said that Sonali s aware of the fact that he is in New York for four-five months and that they both talk about who will be able to return home first. As per reports, Kher told Bendre that he doesn't know about himself, but he really wants her to go back home.

Further talking about Sonali, Anupam Kher said that she is a courageous and brave person and by brave, he doesn't mean strong in terms of physical strength but how one deals with life in difficult situations is what truly determines one's true strength, as reported. As per reports, the 'Special 26'actor thinks that the way Sonali is fighting her battle against the disease is highly applaudable. 

Reportedly, Kher also said that he prays to God every morning to give the 'Sarfarosh' actress immense strength and tries his best to meet her and stay in touch with her for he knows that when one is unwell he feels good to be surrounded by his loved  ones and so he makes sure that he talks to her and creates positive vibes around her always.

Sonali has taken her battle against cancer positively and often posts about it. She also posts about her book club or when she misses her family. The actress has received support for several eminent Bollywood personalities when she opened up about her battle against the disease. Not too long ago, her friends Sussanne Khan and Gayatri Oberoi visited her in New York and were spotted in a park. 

What's next for Anupam Kher

Anupam Kher is currently working on American television series 'New Amsterdam' which is a medical drama and is gearing up for his next film 'The Accidental Prime Minister' which is a biopic on the former Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh. The film is based on a memoir written by Sanjaya Baru.
