Veteran actress turned politician Kirron Kher is celebrating her 64th birthday on Friday, June 14. As she turned a year older, husband veteran actor Anupam Kher extended heartwarming greetings to her on social media. 

The Bollywood veteran shared a number of pictures of his wife on Twitter celebrating her many roles of being a 'daughter, sister, wife, mother and people’s person'. In the post, Kher wrote, "Happy birthday to a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother and people’s person. Dearest @KirronKherBJP !! May God give you all the happiness and peace in the world. Love and prayers always."

Kirron Kher who was the sitting MP from Chandigarh was re-elected in the Lok Sabha elections this year with 69642 votes. She was contesting opposite Congress candidate Pawan Kumar Bansal, who was defeated scoring 46970 votes. 

Meanwhile, Anupam Kher's bosom friend Anil Kapoor has also wished Kirron Kher on her birthday. Sharing a picture of the Chandigarh MP on Twitter, the evergreen actor wrote, "Happy Birthday, @KirronKherBJP!! You are fabulous at everything that you do & you're easily one of the most amazing people I know! Wishing you all the best & success for your second term serving the people of Chandigarh as their MP!"
