Celebrating justice and patriotism two films of similar genre- 'One Day' and 'Article 15' are all set to hit the theaters by the end of the month. However, fans are expecting a massive Box office tiff, as both the films are releasing on the same day.

Anupam Kher's 'One Day', which was initially scheduled to release on June 14, this year, has been pushed back by a couple of weeks and now will be releasing on June 28.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and announced the same. In a recent Twitter post, he wrote, "New release date... #OneDay will now release on 28 June 2019... Stars Anupam Kher, Esha Gupta, Kumud Mishra, Zarina Wahab, Zakir Hussain, Rajesh Sharma and Murli Sharma... Directed by Ashok Nanda."

Here's the post:

Meanwhile, actor Ayushmann Khurrana's much-anticipated venture 'Article 15' is also scheduled to release on the same date. While 'One Day' features Anupam Kher as a Judge, who appears to be an outlaw fighting for justice, 'Article 15' features Ayushmann Khurrana as a fervent cop who abide by the constitution and fights against discrimination on basis of cast, race, religion, sex or place of birth.

While the 'Badhai Ho' actor will essay the role of the principal protagonist, he will be joined by a stellar support cast comprising of Isha Talwar, Manoj Pahwa, Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra, M Naser, Ashish Verma, Sushil Pandey, Subrajyoti Bharat, and Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub in the upcoming venture. The film is being produced by Benaras Media Works and is slated to hit the theatres on 28 June.

On the other hand, besides Kher, 'One Day' also stars Esha Gupta and Kumud Mishra in the lead. It features Esha and Kumud as policemen and is directed by Ashok Nanda and produced under Cinema Friday International. The crime thriller with a tagline: 'Where's there is justice, there will be victory' which seems like the base of the movie and rightly sets the tone for the film's subject.
