If Virat Kohli does score a century against arch-rivals Pakistan on Sunday, the occasion might just be more special as the cameras might zoom on his actor-wife Anushka Sharma, who’d be the happiest face in the crowd. While the ton or even the possibility of a match in the first place seems far-fetched with the weather in Manchester, the good news is that the ‘First Lady’ of Indian Cricket is in England, and she can surely motivate not just hubby dearest but the entire team. The news, however, was not shared by ‘Virushka’ but Anupam Kher, who was delighted to meet one of his ‘favourites’ in London. The veteran shared that he has always admired the ‘Pari’ star for her work and ‘cool attitude’ as they discussed 'films, power of failure, army life’ and ‘of course’ their ‘favourite’ Virat.

Kher on Friday tweeted a sweet pic with Anushka, as they flashed their smiles and wrote, “It was so wonderful to meet one of my favourites @AnushkaSharma in London. We haven’t worked much together but I have always admired her for her work & her cool attitude. Had fun talking to her about films, power of failure, army life & of course our favourite @imVkohli.”

Anushka and Kher were seen in two films, but the latter played the father of her co-stars, Shahid Kapoor in ‘Badmaash Company’ and Katrina Kaif in ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’, so they didn’t have any scenes together.

It’s unlikely that Anushka won’t meet Virat or watch the high-octane Indo-Pak, being in the same country. There’s no clarity yet on the rules involving Indian player’s WAGs (Wives and Girlfriends). In October last year, there were reports that the captain has urged the BCCI to allow wives to accompany players on overseas tours. There are contrasting reports over when the wives can join and for how long, some claim it’s 10 days after the tour begins and other reports say it is 21 days.  The second condition has not been fulfilled yet as the World Cup had begun on May 30. She, too, like all other cricket lovers would pray that there is no washout.

Meanwhile, Kher, had also met Akshay Kumar in Thailand, and the ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ had even tweeted a video from the scooter taxi on his way.
