'Are We Okay With Institutionalised Hooliganism ?' Says Swara Bhasker On MNS Threatening 'Bigg Boss' Crew

Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker who has been vocal about her opinion on several pressing issues, recently lashed out at Raj Thackeray  led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS). The political party had threatened Bigg Boss crew against allowing Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta from entering the house. The party had visited the cre in Lonavla and goven them an official notice and they had even clicked a happy picture, posing for the camera. The picture went viral on the internet. 

Actress Swara Bhasker was appalled at this news and wrote, "IS THIS A JOKE?????? Or are we now just okay with institutionalised hooliganism?????? And who takes pictures with the goons that threaten vandalism????? WHAT IS WRONG WITH US GUYS??!????"

The youth wing of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has threatened the makers of Indian TV reality show Bigg Boss stating the party would not take it lightly if Tanushree were allowed on the show. In a recent allegation made by Tanushree, the actress said that "MNS goons had attacked her vehicle back in 2008."

The letter issued by MNS workers says, “Tanushree Dutta is making false allegations against MNS chief Raj Thackeray for the sake of publicity and to enter Bigg Boss. MNS would not tolerate any false allegations against party president Raj Thackeray, Marathi artistes and Marathi people in general. We will vandalise the Bigg Boss house if the makers roped in Tanushree and even would stage a huge protest to stop the show.”

With this, Tanushree Dutta has issued a statement on MNS threat which stated, “Raj Thackeray’s MNS party which are threatening me, this is on top of other threats issued to me from Nana's side. Amidst all this, the Mumbai police has reached out and offered their support. They have promised me 24 hours police protection and have posted their armed personnel around my home. I would like to thank the Mumbai police force for coming forward to protect me and helping me strengthen my resolve.”

However, the Maharashtra Government has said that the police protection given to Tanushree is not against Nana. 

On the other hand, Nana Patekar has sent a legal notice to Tanushree Dutta and he will be holding a press conference on October 8.
