Bollywood lost one of its most iconic actresses as veteran actress Sridevi passed away on February 25, 2018. The death of the 'Chandni' actress came as a shock to many in the fraternity. The differences in Boney Kapoor's family has been open to the world wherein his children from his first wife Mona Shourie Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor had been distant from Boney and his wife, Sridevi's daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor. However, 'Judaai' actress Sridevi's untimely demise was what brought the family close.
Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor handled the situation in a way that made the estranged half-sisters warm up towards them. Arjun was a pillar of strength as she flew to Dubai to be by his father, Boney Kapoor's side when he was awaiting the mortal remains of Sridevi. After that, pictures of the four of them at social gatherings, dinners and cousin Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's wedding went viral on the internet.
Speaking about the change in the equation, Arjun Kapor reportedly said that he is now so close to his sisters that he can have a one on one conversation with them, but remembers the time when everything was not so perfect when it came to his relationship with his father and Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor. Arjun, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film 'Namaste England' opened up about the situation and reportedly said that it was a nascent stage wherein they were still figuring things out. He further added saying that they were comfortable with each other which he thought was a good point, as reported. As per reports, Arjun revealed that he thought that talking too much would probably cause trouble and wanted things to take their own course.
According to reports, Arjun has grown close to Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor to an extent where they can have a one-on-one conversation with him. He is sure that the duo will figure out their lives at their own time, in their own way and mentioned the fact that he and his sister Anshula will always be there for them, as reported. Arjun who was last seen in 'Mubarakan' sharing screen space with uncle Anil Kapoor, reportedly said that they all have their independent lives and will be there for each other, and that's how it should be. According to Arjun, they don't need to be a happy pretentious family all of a sudden and which is why he took time to talk about his equation with Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor, as reported.
Talking about iconic actress Sridevi's demise, Arjun reportedly said that having experienced something as harsh as that, he wouldn't wish it for his worst enemy. As per reports Arjun who lost his mother Mona Shourie Kapoor a few years ago reportedly said that he knows what it feels like to be in a situation where one is grasping for life. Reports Suggest that Arjun wanted to be there for his father Boney Kapoor during his most difficult time, given that Boney had always been there for his children.
