Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor supports actress Jacqueline Fernandez's initiative to rebuilt Kerala as the state was affected by a devastating flood earlier this year.

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez who is known to be an active voice to social issues has currently taken up the initiative to rebuilt Kerala that has been massively affected by Flood this year. The actress who launched 'Jacqueline Builds' in partnership with NGO 'Habitat for Humanity India' in support of the families affected by the Tamil Nadu floods in 2016, is raising funds at the moment to re-structure Kerala. 

Joining hands to the initiative, actor Arjun Kapoor has extended his support to the actress. Giving a shout out to Jacqueline, the actor took to social media and urged the netizens to contribute to the cause.

Sharing a picture that reads the date when flood engulfed Kerala, the actor wrote, "Let's not forget the devastation the floods have left behind. In May this year, Kerala was flooded with impending rains. The disastrous natural calamity claimed many lives and severely affected the infrastructure of the state. Through the initiative, the actress is gathering funds to support and rebuild the state. 

Jacqueline has been contributing to many social causes in the recent days. Previously the actress has backed many causes like marine conservation and animal welfare. In fact, she recently represented animal welfare at the United Nations (UN) on World Animal Day as she got 8 million people to sign a petition to raise her voice against animal testing. The 'Dishoom' star also supports marine conservation and has been actively contributing to creating awareness amongst the masses through social media platforms.

What's next for Jacqueline?

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actress last appeared in Remo D'Souza's 'Race 3' that released on June 15, 2018. The film also starred Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala. Although the film faced a lot of criticism, it managed to record a successful box office collection. Jacqueline will be next featured in Tarun Mansukhani's upcoming venture 'Drive' which is a Hindi remake of 2011 American action-drama 'Drive'. Besides Jacqueline, the film also stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Vikramjeet Virk and Sapna Pabbi. The film was scheduled to release on September 7, 2018, but was postponed and the new date of release is not announced yet.
