Arjun Kapoor trolls Kartik Aaryan after he writes: "I always tell the truth even when I lie"

Kartik Aaryan who recently wrapped Imitiaz Ali's untitled next opposite Sara Ali Khan, took to his Instagram handle to post a black and white picture of himself. He captioned the image by saying, "I always tell the truth even when i lie". Remember the dialogue? The line is from Scarface (1983) and is said by Al Pacino's character Tony Montana in the film.

Commenting on the same, Arjun Kapoor who is known to troll celebrities on social media, didn't leave a chance to take a dig at Kartik too. He wrote: "Haan shakal se hi dikhta hai.", to which Kartik replied by saying: "Dono same lagte hai".

On the work front, 'The Pyaar Ka Punchnama' actor is currently in Lucknow shooting for the upcoming movie where he will be seen sharing screen space with Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar. Film titled 'Pati Patni aur Woh' is being directed by Mudassar Aziz, who has previously helmed films like 'Happy Bhag Jayegi' and 'Dulha Mil Gaya'.

Kartik is essaying the role of Chintu Tyagi, a geeky man with a retro-style moustache. The film is an adaptation of the 1978 drama of the same name, which featured Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha and Ranjeeta Kaur in the lead roles. The original film revolved around a married couple Ranjeet (Sanjeev) and Sharda (Vidya) and how things change after he gets involved with his secretary Nirmala (Ranjeeta).

The upcoming film is slated to release on December 6, 2019.

Meanwhile, Arjun Kapoor will be next seen in 'Panipat'. The film is based on the Third Battle of Panipat fought between the Maratha empire led by Sadashiv Rao Bhau and the invading forces of Ahmad Shah Abdali, the King of Afghanistan.

The Aushotosh Gowariker directorial also stars Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt. It is slated to release on December 6, 2019.
