To bring oneself up after setbacks is often termed as the true hallmark of a successful person. Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha is one who definitely fits into this category after a magical turnaround.  After almost 12 years without any major success and films that sank without a trace like ‘Cash’, ‘Ra.One’ and ‘Tum Bin 2’, the filmmaker made the best two movies of his career in the last two years. While ‘Mulk’ was critically acclaimed, it’s this year’s ‘Article 15’ that is making all the right noises at the moment. The social thriller-drama has not just gone on to be unanimously loved by critics, but is also doing well at the box office. The veteran director would now hope to make three in a row, and Taapsee Pannu is set to be the leading lady once again after 'Mulk.'

The actor-director duo announced the news on social media in a special way as they made the ‘new beginning’ with ‘good food’. The ‘Manmarziyaan’ star exulted over doing a subject close to her heart, while expressing her excitement to work with the ‘Man of the Moment’.

Sharing a snap of their food session, Taapsee wrote, “Cheers to the new beginning with some good food! This one is a subject way too close to my heart. I’ve been wanting to do this since years. It becomes exciting when it happens with the ‘Man of The Moment’ @anubhavsinha 8th March 2020 will surely be the day to watch out for!”

Like you’d expect from a perfectionist director, Sinha was quick to point that it was not March 8 but March 6, Friday that the movie would be hitting the theatres.

After portraying issues of religion and caste in his two most acclaimed movies, it’d be interesting to see if the director takes it one notch higher in terms of being controversial and gripping.
