Ayushmann calls wife Tahira Kashyap ' A beautiful fighter in a golden armour', as they attend Ranveer-Deepika's bash

Ayushmann Khurrana may be having a great year in the professional front, but there has been some concern in other spheres. His wife Tahira Kashyap has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is undergoing treatment. In the middle of it all, the two made an appearance at Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's Mumbai reception.

The couple looked gorgeous together with Ayushmann dressed in a navy blue tuxedo along with a matching tie while Tahira donned a golden saree with a black blouse and golden jewellery. Overall, the two look really great together but it is the actor's message for his wife that really stood out. Sharing their pictures on Twitter, he called her ' a beautiful fighter in a golden armor', referring to the fact that in spite of her health issues she's not afraid to celebrate life. It is clear that Ayushmann is in awe of his wife and so are we. Here's what he wrote, "Set to go to the most happy couple’s celebration with the beautiful fighter in a golden armour."

Tahira too shared a picture or two of themselves as they stepped out for the reception as she said, "All posing and happy to go to such a gracious, good-looking couple’s @deepikapadukone @ranveersingh happy moment. It is there special day but somehow they end up making others feel so remarkably good and special about themselves. God bless you both. Much love."
