Ayushmann Khurrana, an actor who has just spent 7 years in the Indian film industry so far, has become the man of the moment. Many know how successful he is, but do not know how he got there. Let's learn about his journey through Bollywood. He started his career started from MTV Roadies 2 as a winner and went to become a National Award-winning actor. Ayushmann in recent years has gained a good reputation for giving back to back successful films and also has been addressed as the Man of the Moment by his counterparts in the industry.

Ayushmann from Roadies to Bollywood

We first saw Ayushmann in MTV Roadies season 2, when he won the show in 2004. In the show, he got noticed for his natural screen presence. In an interview with a leading daily, he said this early exposure to the cameras gave him an edge over others and he added that he always wanted to become a method actor and this show helped him a lot. He added that when he was an RJ he used to prepare for his show three hours in advance so that he has a well-prepared mind.

In 2008, when Ayushmann was a VJ on MTV Wassup. He hosted the radio show, ‘Maan Na Maan, Main Tera Ayushmann’. His melodious voice was recognized but very few people knew him. Then he started working in TV shows as a host. He worked with shows like Music Ka Maha Muqqabla, India's Got Talent, Just Dance and Extra Innings for Indian Premier League 3. He started gaining popularity as a TV show host. In 2012 he got his big break in the unconventional film titled Vicky Donor.

His big break into the Hindi film industry was with a very unconventional role of a sperm donor. Though the storyline is a taboo topic, he took up the role. He effortlessly acted in the movie and fans loved his performance. He also sang the song Pani Da Rang for which he won a Filmfare Award of Best Male Playback Singer. He also won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut that year. He also won many other awards for his role as Vicky Donor. This was just the beginning of his career in Bollywood. Today he has become a prominent hero in the Indian film industry and has also won the Best Actor National Award for his role in the movie Andhadhun (2018).
