Singer-Rapper-turned-actor Badshah who hit the headlines a few months back for calling Kartik Aaryan an ‘overrated actor’ at Koffee with Karan has taken a u-turn literally and has now called him a ‘brilliant actor’. Wonder what happened?

In an interview with a daily tabloid, Badshah said he didn’t know why he named him, probably because they ‘were talking about Kartik during the break’ and he further said that it just came out but stressed on the fact that he is ‘a brilliant actor with a very good script sense.’. Infact, Badshah further clarified that when he told Kartik that he was entering the acting arena, Kartik joked by saying: 'Beta, ab tu dekh.’

Meanwhile, Badshah has also recently rapped for Salman Khan starrer ‘Munna Badnam Hua’ for Dabangg 3. He said that Salman Khan’s parties are among the best in town and he believes that this song will be one of the biggest songs of the year.

Badshah's upcoming film 'Khandaani Shafakhana' is a funny film which deals with the taboo around sex in India in a sensitive manner. The movie also stars Sonakshi Sinha. The film, directed by Shilpi Das Gupta, revolves around a woman who inherits a sex clinic from her uncle.

Film rapper-actor Badshah said it is important to impart sex education. "I think there should be family planning... We are a country of 130 crore people. Our resources are getting exhausted and we must think of family planning," he said.

"Khandaani Shafakhana" is set to release on August 2. Varun Sharma, Annu Kapoor, Nadira Babbar and Kulbhushan Kharbanda are also a part of the cast. 

The film is co-produced by Sundial Pictures and T-Series.
