'Beginning Of 2018, And The Beginning Of Many Things': Ayan Mukerji Shares A Throwback Picture From Israel When Ranbir Kapoor And Alia Bhatt Were 'getting To Know Each Other'

From a grand launch in Kumbh Mela 2019 to the final logo launch in social media, the much-anticipated Bollywood venture 'Brahmastra' made an extravagant start and now is making it up to the news daily. Director Ayan Mukerji has also debuted in Instagram keeps fans posted with the developments of the project. In a recent post, the filmmaker opened up how Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor came to know each other during the shooting of the film in Tel Aviv, Israel, back in 2018.

Ayan shared a still from the sets of the film where Ranbir can be seen gazing at Alia from behind a partition as she stares at something not in the frame. In the post, he said,  "Beginnings. Tel Aviv, Israel... Beginning of 2018, and the beginning of many things... We were in Tel Aviv to prepare for our first shooting schedule with a very special member of our team, and it marked the beginning of Ranbir and Alia working together for the movie and getting to know each other..."

"Brahmāstra has come with a lot of travel, to find creative collaborations everywhere in the world... something I hope will add greatly to the film eventually 🤞💥 #brahmastra" he added.

'Brahmastra' is said to be a romantic-fairytale in a supernatural format. The sci-fi drama starring  Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, and Mouni Roy is one of the most-anticipated films of the year and fans are eagerly waiting for its release.

Ayan Mukerji and team who started shooting for the film a year ago celebrated the film's birthday on Thursday, March 14. Previously, he had also shared several behind the scene pictures of Ranbir and Alia from the sets of the film elevating the expectations of the audience.
