Bollywood actors Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's much-anticipated venture 'Bharat' released on June 5 and it has been widely praised by the audience. The film, which created history as Salman's highest opener ever, has now achieved yet another remarkable feat by crossing the Rs. 200 crore mark at the Box office within two weeks of its release.
It has grossed Rs. 201, Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and announced on Wednesday, June 19. Sharing the box office collection of the film in a recent Twitter post, he stated that while its performance has slowed down its other circuits. It was the massive popularity of the film in the North that paved its way to the Rs. 200 crore club.
Announcing the film as a 'hit' in the post, he wrote, "#Bharat scores a double century at the BO... Crosses ₹ 200 cr mark... Is best in North, although biz has slowed down in other circuits... [Week 2] Fri 4.30 cr, Sat 6.37 cr, Sun 6.19 cr, Mon 2.63 cr, Tue 2.32 cr. Total: ₹ 201.86 cr. India biz."

Adarsh further gave a breakdown of the overall collection of the film so fat. The film with the first-week collection of Rs. 180.05 crores grossed around some Rs. 21.81 crore in the second week till Tuesday.

'Bharat' proved to be both Salman's biggest Eid opener as well as his highest ever opener ever by raking in Rs 42.30 crore on its first day. As per media reports, his last two Eid releases, 'Tubelight' and 'Race 3' had a lackluster start at the box office. Adarsh had earlier shared that the film's opening day moolah has surpassed that of Salman's hit films including 'Tiger Zinda Hai' (Rs 34.10 crore), 'Sultan' (Rs 36.54 crore) and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (Rs 40.35 crore).
