Bhumi Pednekar's festival wishes on Instagram didn't go well with the Netizens when the actress wished everyone 'Makar Sankranti' instead of 'Gudi Padwa'.

Posting a beautiful picture in Maharastrian attire, Bhumi immediately rectified the mistake and wrote: "गुडी पाड़वा चीं हार्दिक शुभेच्छा 😘
#happygudipadwa. #GoodMorning #marathimulghi #happynewyear"

But Netizens trolled the actress over the error she made and wrote: "@bhumipednekar mam aaj makarsankranti nahi h padwa h..😅", and the other wrote: "When you try to impress Marathi audience but with lack of knowledge/info 😂😂😂😂😂 Kay tu Bhumi 😂😂😂"

On the work front, Bhumi Pednekar is currently in Uttar Pradesh shooting for 'Saand Ki Aankh' with Taapsee Pannu.

Based on country's oldest sharpshooters - Chandro Tomar and her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar, Bhumi Pednekar keeps updating her fans with all the behind-the-scenes from the shoot. Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, 'Saand Ki Aankh' also features Prakash Jha and Vicky Kadian in pivotal roles.

Apart from this, she will also be seen in filmmaker Amar Kaushik's 'Bala' romantic comedy that will narrate the story of a prematurely balding man, played by Ayushmann Khurrana, and a small-town girl (Bhumi Pednekar) battling skin-colour prejudices in a society obsessed with fair skin.

“It is a slice of life humorous film. We are also trying to put some message, not in a preachy way though. I want people to enjoy what we make. I need to also make sure no one will take offence that we are talking about baldness. I will be making sure that it doesn’t happen,” Amar told PTI.
