Bihar Floods: Sushant Singh Rajput, Manoj Bajpayee Make Fervent Appeal

Amidst flood situations in Bihar, several Bollywood stars have come forward to extend their support. Sushant Singh Rajput & others urged fans to help the state.

The downpour of rain has caused havoc in many parts of Bihar. The flood situation in the state remained critical amid warnings of impending heavy showers in some parts of the state. Amidst the same, several Bollywood stars have come forward to extend their support to the flood victims. Recently, Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput took to social media and urged fans to stand by Bihar and help the citizens come out of this unfortunate predicament.  He further appealed to fans to donate to Bihar chief minister's relief fund.

"Let’s please come together in any way possible to support our Bihar to get her out of this unfortunate predicament. May God be with us. Here’s the Bihar chief minister's donation fund link I’ve found that we could use. Jai Hind." he wrote in the post.

Manoj Bajpayee urges fans to help

Meanwhile 'Gangs of Wasseypur' actor Manoj Bajpayee also urged fans to help the flood-affected state of Bihar. Retweeting Sushant's post he appealed for the people of the state. "For our Bihar" he wrote in the post. Previously, he had also put out a post requesting his fans to donate to CM's relief fund.

Pankaj Tripathi requests citizens to help Bihar

Actor Pankaj Tripathi had also put out a post on social media requesting fans to help the state.

Bihar has been struck with a devastating flood situation after retreating monsoon caused havoc in many parts of the state. Heavy rains in Bihar have claimed 43 lives and thousands have been affected.

Relief and rescue operations are being carried out continuously in 15 districts of the northern and eastern parts of the flood-hit state. 494 panchayats of these 15 districts are submerged in floodwaters and more than 8 thousand affected people have been provided shelter in 19 relief camps in the state.
