The makers of much anticipated upcoming venture 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' have released a brand new teaser for the film and the short clip is sure to blow your mind. Bollywood actress Yami Gautam who has been playing a major role in the film, unveiled the new teaser in her Instagram on Thursday, January 3, where she can be seen addressing a press-meet. In the video, someone can be heard asking the actress about her role in the film, to which she confirms that she will not playing a soldier in the upcoming action drama. The actress who has kept her role under wraps said that her role will be revealed in the film itself.
When asked about if she wants to extend any message to the soldiers of the country she said, "We and the whole country is very proud of you. We are here because of you."
Then again, someone can be sarcastically heard asking if she is even aware of what Surgical strike is, to which, she can confidentially answer saying, "Surgical strike is when someone comes strikes and leaves even before one realizes it."
What happens next is the most shocking part where, actor Vicky Kaushal along with two other soldiers can be seen walking to the stage from the background which previously appeared to be a poster. Meanwhile, the actress continues saying, "like how these soldiers took position and you guys didn't even notice it..."
The trailer concludes with Vicky Kaushal coming forward and narrating the title statement of the film which says, "Yeh naya Hindustan hai! ye Hindustan ghar mein ghusega bhi aur marega bhi" (This is new India. This India will enter the house and attack too)
Yami Gautam captioned the post saying, "Movements so swift and actions so stealthy, that their attack will go unnoticed, this is Indian Army's art of subtle deception! Watch #URITheSurgicalStrike in cinemas on 11th January."

It is based on the September 2016 attack by Pakistani terrorists on the Indian Army brigade HQ in Uri, J&K and subsequent Surgical Strike by Indian security forces on terror launchpads in Pakistan.
