The patriotic zeal touched heights this Independence day as Bollywood's 'Desi Boys' came up with two spectacular films that are currently ruling the Box Office. Akshay Kumar starrer 'Mission Mangal' and John Abraham's 'Batla House' are the two films based on two defining real-events the country has witnessed. While 'Mission Mangal' is based on Indian Space Research Organisations' Mars Orbital Mission, 'Batla House' is inspired by the controversial encounter operation which took place in Delhi in 2008.

On the third day of its release, 'Mission Mangal' has attained a remarkable feat by crossing the Rs. 50 crore mark at the box office. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh in a recent post revealed, the film witnessed superb growth on Day 3 and has grossed over 70 crores.
