Emraan Hashmi may have become famous with the help of some steamy scenes,  but he seems to have really evolved as a performer. His upcoming film 'Cheat India' is a great example of that. The film which is based on India's education system and its corresponding loopholes has really got everyone intrigued. Now, after releasing a first look poster, the makers have finally unveiled the teaser of the film.

The teaser shows Emraan Hashmi as Rakesh Singh, a scheming businessman who seems to have found an untapped market. In his own words, he explains how there are so many entrance exams in banking, medical, civil service and many sectors. As he is talking, there are shots of students standing in long lines as they demand if these exams can be cracked in a single shot. Rakesh then proposes that instead of them writing, why can't those who are qualified take these exams in their stead, for a good price of course. As a bystander asks how is this possible, he then cheekily remarks that they can benefit from your knowledge and you can benefit from their money. Then the teaser ends with the film's tagline "Nakal Main Hi Akal Hai".

Emraan looks like he has really nailed his character to perfection down to the walk, the dialogue delivery, and the attire. There are plenty of good dialogues in just this fifty-second teaser, making it clear that there is more to come in the trailer. But the most astonishing of all is the brazen way in which he is conducting this fraudulent business and how it sheds light on such malpractices that are happening in the education section right now. Then again, since the film is from the makers who made 'Raid', the subject matter of the movie is not altogether surprising and holds a lot of promise.

Also featuring Shreya Dhanwanthary in her Bollywood debut, the film which is helmed by Soumik Sen is all set to release on 25 January 2019.
