The makers of ‘Cheat India’ starring Emraan Hashmi have released the trailer and it promises a gripping ride filled with twists and turns.
The trailer sees the actor luring brilliant students into writing exams on behalf of others with money while assuring them they won’t get caught. The students get greedy and laugh all the way to the bank and even get involved with girls. However, matters take a turn for the worse, when the law catches hold of them and the real action begins.
That doesn’t deter Emraan’s greedy character, who’s seen as a different kind of ‘Robin Hood’, as he justifies his practice in court saying that it’s not wrong if he’s making money from the rich and filling the poor, deserving students’ pockets.
With the moustache, glasses and the ‘tilak’, Emraan aces the middle-aged look and his dialogue delivery is on point. The actor’s one-liners might remind you of his dialogues in massy movies like ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai’, ‘The Dirty Picture’ and ‘Jannat’ franchise. Ones like “Akalmand to ho tum, ab nakalmand bano”, “Upar wala dua kabool karta hai, mai sirf cash leta hai”, “Paise ke aage shuru hota hai khel, power ka”, “Bade log scam karte hai”,”Hero banne ki koi ichcha nai hai, villain banne ka time nai hai, khiladi hu, khel raha hu”, which might elicit whistles from the massy audiences.
